The module has an integrated IP Manager which is mainly used for the VPS provisioning. If a new VPS get created by the system, the module will look up the IP Manager for an available IP address.
The IP Manager allows you to:
- Assign your VPS hostsystems to the appropriate IP subnets. This is useful if your IP space is not usable by all hostsystems or if you have multiple datacenter locations.
- Reserve single IP addresses - e.g. if you use it on an other system and you do not want to automatically assign this IP.
- Make comments on IP addresses for easier tracking of the IP usage.
The IP Manager gives you an overview which IPv4 addresses are used by which server and client. It shows the assigned IPs for dedicated server and virtual servers.
