The module has an integrated IP Manager which is used for the VPS provisioning. If a new VPS get created by the system, the module will look up the IP Manager for an available IP address.
The IP Manager allows you to:
- Assign your VPS hostsystems to the appropriate IP subnets. This is useful if your IP space is not usable by all hostsystems or if you have multiple datacenter locations.
- Reserve single IP addresses - e.g. if you use it on an other system and you do not want to automatically assign this IP.
- Make comments on IP addresses for easier tracking of the IP usage.
The IP Manager gives you an overview which IPs are used by which server and client.
