The installation of FreeNAS / TrueNAS is very simple and only a few configurations have to be done.
The module supports FreeNAS and also FreeNAS. New installations should install TrueNAS. FreeNAS and TrueNAS have been merged and only TrueNAS is actively maintained by the developer.
Installation of TrueNAS
Download the FreeNAS ISO and install it on your server: https://www.truenas.com/download-truenas-core/
The installation of freenas operating system is simple, you just need to follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
